Who we are
We are a grass roots New Zealand population health care provider and development & research organisation.
All our staff play roles spearheading and leading the design and development of new approaches to the delivery of health care and health education.
We engage actively with our community in the spirit of partnership, and encourage and support teamwork and collaboration internally, and with the larger community of health professionals.
See the video below for an insightful watch about reinventing organisations - the Laloux Culture Model.
Everywhere in the world, across all types and levels of care, health systems are in crisis. Globally, hospital admissions are on the increase, and the increase indicates that the primary care system is faltering.
- In New Zealand 29% of our children live in poverty; and
- Right now our population deprivation levels measure in excess of 17%, with 11% of our community on social benefit medical certificates and the remaining 6 - 8% either officially unemployed, or the hidden unemployed.
Our job is to work out how we can make a difference, locally and nationally, by working with and in our community to build and collaborate on solutions.
“Here is a place your energy and passion makes a genuine difference to the lives of people, and at the same time improves the standards of health in community, locally and nationally”
